Steven Soderbergh's Solaris - a review by Dave Fischer
A brilliant comedy - the very concept of a bunch of pretty-boy Hollywood losers attempting to work in the same league as Stanislaw Lem and Andrey Tarkovsky sets the stage for a gut-busting slapstick parody of the entire genre of modern film. Obliviousness has perhaps never been more realisticly portrayed. Imagine the Three Stooges attempting to perform Mozart's Don Giovanni in its entirety without cracking a smile.
